Advisor Information
ABC Charity encourages donors to seek the counsel of their own legal, financial, tax, and estate planning advisors. We welcome and value your involvement as you help your clients determine how they would like to proceed.
This page of our website provides you with a number of resources you may find useful. First, here is some basic information about our organization:
- Our official name is “ABC Charity Incorporated” and the address of our main office is:
123 Main Street, Suite 45
Anytown, MA 67890 - The organization is a nonprofit corporation established on [date] under the laws of the State of [state].
- ABC Charity is exempt from income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Click here for a copy of our IRS determination letter. Accordingly, donations to the organization qualify for income, gift, and estate tax charitable deductions under applicable portions of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Our Federal tax ID number is 12-3456789. Click here for a copy of our most recent IRS Form 990.
- Click here for a copy of our most recent annual report.
- To learn more about ABC Charity’s leadership, click here. [This mostly assumes that some other page of the client’s website contains such information. It may be, too, that such information is to be found on more than one page, e.g., one page for paid leadership and one page for volunteer leadership. Moreover, it may well be that finding the page or pages in question is easy, depending on the site’s navigation elements, in which case, a link here would be of perhaps only marginal value.]
Consistent with safeguarding its own interests, ABC Charity tries to make arranging a gift for the organization’s benefit as easy as possible, and we strive to honor the intentions of all our donors. Accordingly, we hope the following will prove helpful:
- Click here for suggested bequest wording.
- Click here for securities transfer instructions.
- Click here for a copy of ABC Charity’s gift acceptance policies.
- Click here for a copy of our endowment policies.
If one of your clients arranges an estate gift for the benefit of ABC Charity, we would very much appreciate knowing about the gift, both so we can express our sincere gratitude and – as noted above – so we can make sure we will be able to fulfill the donor’s wishes. Of course, we respect the fact that in some cases, donors prefer to remain anonymous. Still, if you are willing to serve as an intermediary, a client of yours can share information about his or her plans without divulging his or her identity.
- Click here to learn more about ABC Charity’s Legacy Society.
- Click here for a confidential form that can be used in notifying ABC Charity that an estate gift has been arranged for its benefit. [Ideally, this form can also be linked to from the legacy society page.]
Finally, we want to be of assistance to you in any way you can, whether you are simply looking for general information about charitable giving, considering particular options on behalf of a particular client, or needing our cooperation in the administration of a bequest or other type of planned gift.
- Click here for information on those of us at ABC Charity who work in gift planning and gift administration.
- Contact us to discuss a potential – or even merely hypothetical – gift situation or to request a gift illustration.
- Give our online calculator a try.

Thank you for the work you do on behalf of our supporters!
